Yuliya Luy is a UK-qualified solicitor from Ukraine. She is a commercial litigator and arbitration lawyer, with a particular focus on representing clients in civil fraud, asset tracing and recovery, enforcement actions, and international banking disputes.
Yuliya assists in complex, high-value and cross-border commercial disputes, working closely with lawyers and counsel from a wide-range of jurisdictions, particularly on matters involving Russia and CIS countries.
Yuliya's recent experience involves advising National Bank Trust in a protracted civil fraud case against its former senior executives in the English Court, and the enforcement worldwide of a US$900 million judgment against the defendants. She also acts for National Bank Trust in Steptoe's US$570 million claim against the Mints family, and for a Georgian businessman, Roman Pipia, in a claim against Bank of Georgia Group PLC (BGEO).
