(June 17, 2021, Washington, DC) — Steptoe & Johnson LLP is pleased to announce that Liz Cassady has joined the firm’s Washington office as a partner. Cassady focuses her practice on complex litigation and class actions covering a broad range of subject matters. She is the seventh partner to join Steptoe in June and the third female partner.
Cassady represents global companies and financial institutions in complex commercial litigation, including securities class actions, antitrust class actions, Title VII class actions, breach of contract actions, patent infringement actions and other commercial matters. She has represented clients before numerous federal and state courts, courts of appeals, the US Supreme Court and the International Trade Commission. She has participated in trials in securities and intellectual property cases, as well as numerous hearings in other matters.

Cassady earned her law degree, with honors, from The George Washington University. She received her bachelor's degree, with distinction, from Cornell University.
