Steptoe associate Julie Michalski authored an article titled "Microgrids for Micro-Communities: Reducing the Energy Burden in Rural Areas" for the Michigan Technology Law Review. The article, published in the Fall 2019 issue, explains how states across the country can increase rural residents' access to affordable energy by considering Alaska's policies as a prototype.
