Overview
(July 25, 2019, Washington, DC) — The National Law Journal has named Steptoe partner Patty Palacios to its 2019 DC Rising Stars list. The list features 40 lawyers under the age of 40 who work in the District of Columbia. The editors state that this year's honorees were "selected from a competitive pool" and "represent a cross-section of practice areas."
In a special report published in the August issue of the magazine, each honoree shares their biggest successes in practice, their keys to success and what they've learned along the way. "Growing up as a non-native English speaker and being the first in my family to attend college taught me to be tenacious, entrepreneurial and to overcome obstacles," Palacios tells The National Law Journal. "These traits have helped me to be prepared, creative, strategic and hard working in my legal career."
The full profile of Palacios can be read at The National Law Journal (subscription required).
