Overview
E&ETV interviewed Steptoe energy partner Marc Spitzer for a segment that aired on January 28. Mr. Spitzer discussed the White House Council on Environmental Quality's new climate change regulation and how it might affect the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) process for reviewing natural gas pipelines and LNG expert terminals. Mr. Spitzer said the regulation will force FERC to consider how smaller projects will affect the entire natural gas supply chain before making a decision as to whether the projects will have a significant climate impact.
