Overview
Steptoe partner Pantelis Michalopoulos was quoted in articles published in Law360 and E-Commerce Law & Policy covering the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) February 26 vote to impose new rules on net neutrality.
In the articles, Mr. Michalopoulos states that the vote is the beginning of the end for the uncertainty over the FCC’s powers to protect an open Internet. “The rules seem likely to survive appellate scrutiny. [The FCC] has used the Verizon v. FCC court precedent to fortify the rules against challenges with a formidable body of legal armor.”
