Overview
Micah Green was quoted in a National Law Journal article published October 19 accompanying its annual Influence 50 survey, a list of the top-earning lobbying practices. While in previous years the survey has ranked firms based on numbers provided under the Lobbying Disclosure Act, this year, the Influence 50 ranks the top 50 law firms and lobbying organizations by their 2014 total gross revenue for their public policy group.
Steptoe was among the 15 firms that reported their largest sources of public-policy revenue came from approaches that don’t require disclosures to Congress, and instead focus on non-legislative branches of government, such as agencies, commissions and executive branch departments.
Micah Green, co-chair of Steptoe’s Government Affairs and Public Policy Group, says: "In congressional lobbying, the work is done when the bill is signed. We keep the Hill informed and link the regulatory, the compliance, the litigation. It's a continuum of services."
