Overview
Reuters quoted Darryl Nirenberg in an article titled “Trump Election Could Boost Some Legal Practice Areas.” The article, published on November 9, discusses how law firms could have a lot of work headed their way after Donald Trump’s upset victory in the presidential election.
Mr. Nirenberg says some firms, including Steptoe, are often hired by companies to advise on legislative strategy and prepare research and documents to present to Congress. Lawyers in those groups could see an influx of work with the change of administration. He says, “They’re going to have a lot of tasks on their hands and responsibilities in front of them, and will rely upon law firms with substantive and procedural expertise to assist them in carrying out their agendas.”
