Steptoe partner Lucinda Low has been appointed the president of an International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) tribunal panel hearing a billion-dollar claim by the Viennese arm of Italian banking group UniCredit against Croatia over legislation that converted loans and mortgages denominated in Swiss francs to euros. Ms. Low’s first-time appointment is featured in a July 5 Global Arbitration Review article titled “Who is Sitting at the ICSID.”
