Stewart Baker Testifies on Cybersecurity Issues Facing the United States

Stewart Baker has rejoined Steptoe as of May 1. In October 2005, Stewart became the US Department of Homeland Security‚Äôs first Assistant Secretary for Policy, a position in which he served until January of this year.  In that capacity, he helped DHS navigate complex issues ranging from cybersecurity and foreign investment to transportation and customs.

On April 28, 2009, Stewart testified before the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on "Cyber Security: Developing a National Strategy."
