On January 20, Steptoe partner Mike Miller will moderate a panel entitled “Is New York For Sale? Federal, State and Local Approaches to Addressing Public Corruption” for the New York City Bar.  The panelists, consisting of current and former prosecutors, regulators and criminal defense lawyers, will discuss public perceptions of political corruption in New York, provide an overview of the key offices and statutes involved in the campaign against corruption, consider the impact of politics on these investigations, and discuss the relative merits of federal, state, and local efforts to address corruption.
