The IP Network Series is a monthly meeting for intellectual property professionals and those who wish to learn more about IP protection and monetization, including entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers, and investors. Each meeting will include a fireside chat and fun activity aimed at lawyers and non-lawyers alike. Participation is free of charge.

Join us for our next event in the series, "IP Primer for Scientists, Engineers & Startups." The discussion will include a high level overview of the various types of intellectual property protection available in the US, including patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secret. Examiners from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will provide additional insight on the patenting process, including types of patents, the parts of a patent application, and analyzing claims with respect to novelty and obviousness.
