Steptoe & Johnson at Inaugural Thames Valley Innovation Conference

Steptoe & Johnson will be supporting the inaugural Thames Valley Innovation Conference next Tuesday October 10, 2006, in Reading. The exhibition and conference are aimed at promoting, connecting and inspiring innovators. Many of the leading companies in the Thames Valley area are participating, and speakers include Gordon Frazer, Managing Director of Microsoft UK, and Alan Harper, Group Director of Strategy at Vodafone.

Steptoe & Johnson Corporate, Securities and Finance Partner Marshall Leopold will be chairing Session 4, "Translating Good Ideas into Business Success" and speaking at Session 9, "Launch of Thames Valley Software Marketplace", an exciting groundbreaking new project working with Microsoft designed to connect people with ideas or problems to people with funding and solutions, focusing on computer software, especially RFID.

This pilot project will be extended to the wider software marketplace over time, with participation by many other global software corporates such as Cisco, Siemens, CA, Sony and Oracle.

Steptoe & Johnson will also be exhibiting at Stand 6.
