Eva Rigamonti advises clients on regulatory, legislative, and political issues.  She advocates on behalf of clients before the US Congress, the White House, and numerous federal agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Reserve, Federal Trade Commission, and the Food and Drug Administration, among others.  Ms. Rigamonti works closely with clients to assist them in developing and executing legislative and regulatory strategies on a variety of issues including agriculture, appropriations, energy, criminal justice, cybersecurity, financial services, labor, privacy, retail, and transportation. 

Prior to joining Steptoe, Ms. Rigamonti spent a year in Italy on a Fulbright Grant in a Cultural and Academic exchange to study juvenile justice.  While there, she also worked as an intern at the Juvenile Court in Turin, the Court of Appeals in Turin, and the Court of Cassation in Rome (Supreme Court).

Ms. Rigamonti was awarded a J.D. by Yale Law School, where she participated in the Advocacy for Children and Youth Legal Clinic, the Greenhaven Prison Project, Yale Law Women (specifically their Top Ten Family Friendly Firm Committee), and Yale’s Legal Exchange Program in Argentina.  Ms. Rigamonti spent two years teaching 6th and 7th grade Special Education in the South Bronx as a Teach for America corps member.
