Khristoph Becker focuses on complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense, as well as government and internal investigations.  Recent representations include executives of major corporations in concurrent criminal and civil proceedings, frequently involving allegations of accounting fraud. 

Mr. Becker’s experience also includes the representation of multinational corporations in simultaneous cross-border internal investigations. In these matters, he works closely with local counsel, client representatives, and contractors. Mr. Becker directs multilingual document review teams, conducts witness interviews in English and German, and assists in preparing steering committee reports and interfacing with domestic and foreign governmental authorities. He also litigates employment, contract, data privacy, and consumer-protection disputes.      

Mr. Becker has recently participated in several of the firm’s high-profile pro bono matters, including the representation of victims of state-sponsored terrorism and an amicus curiae in support of a former governor’s petition for certiorari to the US Supreme Court. During law school, Mr. Becker interned for both the Innocence Project and the Special Litigation Section in the US Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, and was selected by faculty to intern for Magistrate Judge Patty Shwartz as part of the Alexander Fellows Program.
