Senate Democrats Release Energy Bill With Tax Provisions:  Today, a group of Senate Democrats, including Senator Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-OR), released an energy bill, which, among other provisions, would create several new tax credits for clean energy and repeal fossil fuel industry tax credits.  


Cochran Continuing Resolution Proposal Includes Extension of Federal Ban on State and Local Internet Access Taxes:  Today, Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Thad Cochran (R-MS) proposed a continuing resolution that would extend the federal ban on state and local Internet taxes until December 11, 2015.  The ban is currently scheduled to expire on October 1, 2015.
