Representative Chu Joins Ways and Means Committee: Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) will join the Ways and Means Committee, filling the seat previously held by Xavier Becerra, who resigned to serve as California’s attorney general. Before joining Congress, Rep. Chu previously served on the California Board of Equalization, which administers California’s sales and use, fuel, alcohol, and tobacco taxes.
