Senator Wyden Announces Clean Energy for America Act: Today, Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-OR) announced the Clean Energy for America Act, which “proposes a dramatically simpler set of long-term performance-based energy tax incentives that are technology-neutral and promote clean energy in the United States.” The summary of the Act sets forth proposed tax incentives, including a technology-neutral tax credit for domestic production of clean energy, a technology-neutral tax credit for domestic production of clean transportation fuel, a performance-based tax credit for energy efficient homes, and tax deduction for energy efficient commercial buildings.
