House Requests Conference Committee for Tax Reform
Yesterday, the House voted 222-192 to request a conference committee to reconcile the differences between the House and Senate tax reform bills. The House conferees are:

Final Senate Bill Released
Today, the final language of the tax reform bill, as passed by the Senate, was released. In addition to the changes described in yesterday’s Exempt Organizations Advisory, the Senate added a provision that would treat tuition at an elementary or secondary public, private, or religious school and certain homeschooling expenses as “qualified higher education expenses” for purposes of section 529 plans.
