The past few months have been dominated by the COVID-19 crisis, and while most of us continue to work from home, chemicals regulation and legislation in the EU remains.
From REACH to biocides and Brexit to COVID-19, Steptoe's EU Chemicals team is still committed to providing their weekly discussion of recent developments in EU chemicals regulation and legislation to ensure you stay up to date.
This Week: EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability: Insights for Industry
On October 14, the European Union has outlined its Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS), which aims to address the assessment of the risk posed by hazardous chemicals. The CSS marks the first rethink of EU chemicals policy in 20 years.
In this week's video, Ruxandra Cana and Eléonore Mullier provide an analysis of the planned overhaul of EU chemicals legislation, the key issues for the industry, and the next steps.
If you have any suggestions for future topics, or questions on the topics discussed, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
