In the six months since taking office, CFTC Chairman Heath Tarbert has made significant changes to the agency, appointing new executive leadership and introducing a new mission statement and logo, all while charting the course for the Commission in 2020. Chairman Tarbert has an extensive policy agenda, identifying nearly 200 actions that the agency can take to achieve his strategic goals. With the Democratic primaries already underway, the Commission will need to move quickly to complete Chairman Tarbert's priority agenda items before the November 2020 presidential election.
