Program Information
The enforcement of competition law is becoming more complex and expanding worldwide. In today’s world, forming an antitrust strategy and managing antitrust risk, and addressing inquiries by regulators in multiple jurisdictions worldwide, often requires a clear international vision.
During the seminar, we will provide the audience with the bigger picture on what is currently agitating the international antitrust community, covering the latest news from the enforcers, current antitrust enforcement trends in Japan, the US, and the EU, and novel theories of harm arising from new business realities in the digital age. Among these trends, we will focus on the development of international civil and criminal antitrust enforcement and litigation, comparing and contrasting our respective experiences in the US, Japan, and the EU, and identifying case management pitfalls and practical litigation strategies for Japanese companies to navigate these cases.
