Join Steptoe on Thursday, May 9, 2024 for our inaugural Advertising and Consumer Protection Legal Forum. During this half-day event, we'll discuss key developments and trends impacting consumer regulation and advertising litigation.
Following an optional session on generative AI, we'll open the Forum with a fireside chat featuring DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb. We will then present panels on key issues facing advertisers and marketers, including litigation "hot topics," telemarketing compliance, "green" claims, and more. Throughout the afternoon, attendees will have the opportunity to network with other senior legal and business professionals across a range of industries.

CLE Credit:
Steptoe is an accredited CLE provider in California, Illinois, New York, and Texas and is pleased to offer the following credit for participation in the live event. If you are seeking credit in other jurisdictions, please make a note in your registration form and we’ll apply on your behalf.
- California: This program is approved for 3.5 hours of CLE credit. No credit may be claimed for required MCLE in legal ethics, recognition and elimination of bias in the legal profession, implicit bias, and competence issues. Those attending the AI session will receive an additional hour of legal ethics credit.
- Illinois: This program is approved for 3.5 hours of general CLE credit. Those attending the AI session will receive an additional hour of general credit.
- New York: This program is approved for 4 hours of CLE credit including 4 hours in areas of professional practice. Those attending the AI session will receive an additional hour of ethics and professionalism credit. The content and format are suitable for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
- Texas: This program is approved for 3.5 hours of General MCLE credit. Those attending the AI session will receive an additional hour of general MCLE credit.
