Overview
Abby Orozco concentrates her practice on consumer litigation, advocating for clients in both federal and state courts. She has experience across all phases of litigation from drafting complaints to conducting direct examinations of key witnesses during jury trials. Abby’s practice encompasses a broad range of litigation matters, such as misappropriation of trade secrets, violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and breach of contract claims.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Abby served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable André Birotte, Jr. in the Central District of California. As a clerk, she analyzed the merits of civil and criminal matters, evaluated and prepared recommendations on dispositive motions, and drafted judicial orders in cases involving ERISA, shareholder derivative litigation, copyright infringement, fraud, labor disputes, and California consumer protection claims.
