Overview
Debashree Chatterjee focuses her work on patent analysis, prior art review, and assists with patent prosecution in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, and chemistry. Debashree holds a Ph.D. in chemistry. During her research career, Debashree used X-ray crystallography to characterize proteins involved in DNA/RNA damage repair pathways, performed small molecule screening assays for antibiotic drug development, designed peptide-based drug candidates for the treatment of bacterial biofilm infections, and developed chemical strategies for conjugating reactive fluorophores to proteins.
