Overview
Erin Heaney focuses her practice on white-collar defense and investigations.
Before joining the firm, Erin served in the highly selective US Attorney General's Honors program for the Department of Justice (DOJ). At the DOJ, Erin led multiple compliance teams focused on ensuring the US Intelligence Community's foreign intelligence programs comported with applicable law, like the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. In recognition of her work, Erin received the Assistant Attorney General's Award for Excellence in 2024.
Erin previously completed a two-year clerkship at the New Hampshire Supreme Court where she handled a wide variety of state criminal and civil matters, including issues of constitutional and statutory interpretation. While in law school, Erin served as a judicial extern to the Honorable D. Brooks Smith, then-Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
