Jiantao Fu, Ph.D.

Jiantao Fu prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the field of life sciences. He performs analyses relating to patentability and freedom-to-operate, as well as patent strategy and IP due diligence matters.

During his Ph.D. studies, Jiantao developed rhodium catalysts for highly selective functionalization of unactivated C–H bonds and designed synthetic strategies toward pharmaceutically relevant building blocks. He also has extensive experience working as a post-doctoral scholar and medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry on high-throughput experimentation technologies and small molecule drug discovery programs.
