Overview
Jim Wasley is Steptoe’s Chief Information Officer, leading the firm’s enterprise technology strategy, global IT operations, and information security. As the firm’s senior technology strategist, he oversees modernization across cloud, data, legal practice systems, and artificial intelligence, ensuring the firm’s technology investments support growth, operational effectiveness, and client trust.
Jim brings more than 20 years of experience leading technology organizations and large-scale transformation. He has extensive experience in cloud migration, strategic planning, organizational transformation, business systems optimization, and team development, with a particular focus on building high-performing organizations and aligning technology strategy with evolving business priorities.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Jim was the senior director for firmwide business and legal technologies at King & Spalding. Earlier in his career, he spent years as a technology consultant as well as a senior technology leader at PwC.
