Overview
Shelli Pahmer has more than 25 years of experience as a litigator representing insurers, individual and institutional clients in complex commercial disputes and government and internal investigations. She has litigated a wide range of cases, including, insurance coverage, bad faith, LPT extracontractual liability, insurer liquidation, consumer fraud, unfair claim settlement practices, securities fraud, civil RICO, fraudulent conveyance, breach of contract, employment discrimination, business torts, including fraud, fiduciary duty, shareholder fair value, partnership dissolution, professional malpractice, and will contests.
Shelli has served as first chair in trials before state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative review panels and has argued before state and federal trial and appellate courts. She has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation and arbitration, including motion practice, expert and fact discovery, jury and non-jury trials and appeals, as well as in counseling clients on litigation avoidance.
Shelli has maintained an active pro bono practice, which has included drafting amicus briefs to the US Supreme Court on voter registration and reproductive rights issues.
