Overview
Tyler Doh focuses on patent litigation before US district courts, along with inter partes reviews (IPRs), opinions of counsel, and due diligence. He represents clients across a wide range of technologies, including small molecule pharmaceuticals (Hatch-Waxman), biotherapeutics (biologics), and medical devices.
Tyler is an experienced Hatch-Waxman litigator who has served as counsel in numerous litigations, including those relating to oral dosage forms, transdermal patches, parenteral dosage forms, and inhalation products. He has taken or defended many fact and expert depositions, handled all aspects of written discovery, played a substantial role in several Markman proceedings, and prepared numerous expert reports. His trial-related experience includes preparing pretrial orders and motions in limine, as well as direct and cross examinations of both fact and expert witnesses.
Apart from litigation, Tyler has considerable expertise in providing biosimilar applicants with pre-litigation strategic counseling and conducting due diligence. His experience involves multiple blockbuster biologic products used in the treatment of a wide range of cancers (including breast, stomach, and esophageal cancer) and autoimmune diseases (including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, plaque psoriasis, and ankylosing spondylitis). Tyler also has deep experience in drafting patent applications covering small molecule pharmaceutical products, antibody-based therapies, nutraceuticals, food additives, surgical tools, diagnostic biotechnology platforms, and automotive components.
Prior to practicing law, Tyler was a biomedical engineer conducting cross-disciplinary research in bioinformatics, genetic engineering, and molecular biology as part of studying gene regulation in neural stem cells.
