Overview
Simon Hirsbrunner co-authored a chapter titled “Contribution on Article 24 Concerning International Agreements of the Swiss Federal Act on Energy Supply” for the handbook Commentary on Energy Law, published in 2016. The chapter, co-authored with Roger Dubach of the Swiss federal administration and Dirk Buschle of the European Energy Community, concerns the powers of the Swiss government, the Federal Council, to decide on the conclusion of international agreements in the energy sector. It also discusses the relevance of European energy law for Swiss energy policy.
