Overview
On February 3, 2022, the US Department of Commerce (Commerce) published changes to the US Export Administration Regulation's Foreign Direct Product Rule (FDPR). Baj contends that "the changes make it easier for export compliance professionals to apply FDPR in their operations" while also making "it easier for Commerce to expand the rule" to other contexts, such as a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
