Cybersecurity Law Report quoted Anne-Gabrielle Haie in an article titled "Managing Data Transfers After Latombe." The article discusses the European General Court's (EGC) rejection of a challenge to the European Commission’s adequacy decision approving the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which governs transatlantic personal data transfers.
Speaking to Cybersecurity Law Report about the implications of the ruling, Anne-Gabrielle said: "Latombe matters because it is the first assessment on the new DPF. However, companies should not assume that the decision means the DPF will be sustainable or survive over time."
