Overview
(October 30, 2020, Washington, DC) — Steptoe has been shortlisted for three team awards in Global Competition Review’s 2020 GCR Awards. The nominations are related to two matters the firm served as counsel on.
The T-Mobile/Sprint/DISH divestiture has been shortlisted for team awards in two categories: "Merger Control Matter of the Year – Americas" and "Matter of the Year." Steptoe partner Pantelis Michalopoulos led the firm's representation of DISH in the deal.
The PNE Energy Supply v Eversource Energy litigation has been shortlisted for a team award in the category "Litigation of the Year – Non-Cartel Defense." Steptoe partners Shannen Coffin and Doug Green led the firm's representation of Eversource in the dispute.
The GCR Awards are based on a nominations process followed by a readers' vote of the cases, law firms, lawyers, economists and enforcers they believe excelled in 2019. The winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on November 10.
