IRS Issues Guidance on Section 911 Housing Cost Amounts: Today, the IRS issued Notice 2018-44 which provides adjustments to the limitation on housing expenses for 2018 for purposes of section 911.  Notice 2018-44 revokes Notice 2018-33, which used an incorrect amount for the maximum foreign earned income exclusion. Notice 2018-44 provides the correct amount of the maximum housing expenses and the base housing amount for 2018.
