On April 28, 2023, partner Jason Weinstein spoke in Austin, Texas on a panel, "The Problem of Shadow Banning" at Consensus 2023, one of the largest web3 conferences in the world. The panel discussed banking and other regulatory challenges that the cryptocurrency industry is facing in the US, and how the industry should respond.
Regarding the industry’s response to the wave of crackdowns, Weinstein said: "Startups and mature companies are asking how they can locate outside the United States to try to avoid US jurisdiction – not because they're trying to do something wrong, but because the US makes it hard to innovate and build even when you're trying to do it right."
