Overview
Brian Egan and Jillian Norton have authored an article for Export Compliance Manager titled “Keeping Compliant in Cross-Border Intracompany Transfers.” The May 2020 article highlights how US companies with overseas operations regularly need to share technical information or software within the company, but across national borders. However, many companies are not aware that US export control laws apply to these business activities. The authors provide some insights on how to comply with these laws.
