Overview
(August 2, 2019, Washington, DC) — For the second consecutive year, Steptoe has been named to Law360's list of the "Best Law Firms for Minority Equity Partners." In an article published July 8, Law360 ranks firms with the highest percentages of minority lawyers in their equity partnerships for firms of their size. Steptoe was ranked one of the top 10 firms with 300-599 lawyers.
The list was published as part of Law360's 2019 Diversity Snapshot, which is based on numbers gathered for the Law360 400, an annual ranking of the largest US-based law firms based on domestic attorney headcount. Law360 surveyed more than 300 US firms, or vereins with a US component, about their overall and minority headcount numbers as of December 31, 2018. Only US-based attorneys were included in the survey, and firms had to have at least 20 US-based attorneys to participate.
