Law360 quoted Matthew Frank in a January 3 article titled "International Tax Cases to Watch in 2022." The article previews eight key international tax cases to follow in 2022.
Commenting on the long running Coca-Cola disputes (Coca-Cola Co. et al. v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue and 3M Co. et al. v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue), Frank told Law360 that the Tax Court's handling of the Brazil issue in Coca-Cola is the item to look forward to in that case in 2022.
"I'm hopeful we'll get the 3M decision in 2022," he said. "Then the Tax Court in Coca-Cola will have to figure out its impact for that case."
