Law360 quoted Pantelis Michalopoulos in a January 9 article titled “How The GOP May Undo Wheeler's Telecom Legacy.” The article discusses three ways the Republican party may seek to reverse key elements of the legacy that Chairman Tom Wheeler’s Federal Communications Commission put in place. The article states that one key target could be the open internet.
Mr. Michalopoulos says he expects Republicans to want as full a commission as possible to deal with something as significant as the open internet rules. “Certainly the new commission can begin certain processes, that does not mean that they will be completed prior to a fuller commission being in place.”
