Law360 quoted Pantelis Michalopoulos in an August 19 article titled “FCC’s Vote Won’t Be Final Word on Media Ownership Limits.” The article discusses the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) decision to leave certain media ownership restrictions unchanged.
Mr. Michalopoulos likened this proceeding to the Open Internet proceeding, and says he believes the FCC has been engaging in a kind of dialogue with the Third Circuit over the course of litigation. "By the same token, I think it's fairly likely that this multiyear dialogue between the commission and the Third Circuit in this case will result in a set of rules that pass judicial muster."
