On July 19, 2024, Law360 quoted Steve Davidson in an article titled, "Zimbabwe Can't Dodge $50M Mining Award, DC Circ. Told." The article discusses how Zimbabwe can't leverage sovereign immunity to get out of paying a $50 million arbitration award over a soured joint mining venture.
Speaking to Law360 about the award Davidson said: that the companies "intend to pursue all lawful measures, in the United States and elsewhere, to collect on the judgment they have obtained and to collect that sum, plus interest, from all of the defendants, including Zimbabwe."
