Overview
(October 24, 2019, Washington, DC) — The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has named Steptoe a Top Performer for 2019. Steptoe was recognized at LCLD's 10th annual membership meeting in September, which honored all members for their continued commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive profession.
According to LCLD, 55 LCLD member organizations earned the distinction of Top Performer for their participation in and support of LCLD's mission. This designation recognizes those organizations that are most active in LCLD over the course of the year. Organizations receive points for a variety of LCLD-related activities including participating in any of LCLD's programs, having fellows who are active in the alumni network, hosting learning experiences and leadership lunches, and sponsoring other LCLD events.
Steptoe joined the LCLD in 2010 and has been named an LCLD Top Performer every year since 2016.
