Overview
Steptoe partner Pantelis Michalopoulos’ oral argument before an appeals court in defense of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) open Internet order was covered by several media outlets including Variety and Law360. On December 4, the FCC went before a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to defend its open Internet rules. Mr. Michalopoulos, who heads Steptoe’s Telecommunications, Internet and Media Group, argued for intervenors such as Netflix, Dish Network and Incompas that are supporting the FCC’s rules.
