Law360 and Metropolitan News-Enterprise, a Los Angeles daily newspaper, covered Steptoe’s appellate court victory for Exxon in a toxic tort dismissal case. On July 27, a California appellate court backed the dismissal of a toxic tort brought by a group of former Lockheed Martin Corp. employees against Exxon Mobil Corp., saying a lower court correctly barred the use of expert testimony previously thrown out in litigation brought by other employees.
Exxon was represented by Steptoe Los Angeles partner Jason Levin.
