Steptoe associate Christopher Suarez wrote an article for ABA Landslide Magazine titled "Navigating Inter Partes Review Appeals in the Federal Circuit: A Statistical Review." In this article, Chris comprehensively analyzed decisions in Federal Circuit appeals from IPR decisions to provide statistics on rates of affirmance, reversal, and vacatur, and to provide practitioners with guidance on effective strategies in pursuing or defending Federal Circuit appeals from the PTAB.
