Steptoe's Wendy Wysong and Ali Burney, in collaboration with Nick Turner, Steptoe’s alumnus, and now managing associate general counsel at HSBC, co-authored a chapter titled "Sanctions and Export Controls in the Asia-Pacific Region" for Global Investigations Review's 3rd edition of "The Guide to Sanctions." In this chapter, the authors describe the sanctions and export control risks for business transactions in the Asia-Pacific region and share best practices for managing these risks.
