The now shuttered and disgraced Knoedler Art Gallery was hit with two very different lawsuits last week. In one, a California resident claims that Knoedler sold her a painting they claimed to be a work of famous impressionist Jackson Pollock but that was in fact a forgery, a fact the art dealer knew or should have known.
