Magistrate Judge Gorenstein Reminds Litigant to Actually Speak to Adversary About Discovery Dispute

In response to a letter complaining that an adversary had, by email, indicated it would not produce certain documents, Magistrate Judge Gorenstein issued the following endorsement Thursday reminding the party of Judge Gorenstein's individual rules:  "This letter is not helpful.  Please follow paragraph 2A of my practices.  Talk to them by phone and dictate their position, etc.  Give me as much detail as possible."
