(July 25, 2018, Washington, DC) — The American Lawyer has recognized Steptoe at the top of the 2018 A-List Runners-Up survey, coming in at #21. The annual A-List ranks the top 20 law firms that excel in five vital areas: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, diversity, associate satisfaction and female equity partners.
In an article published July 24, the editors write: "Moving up by 12 spots, Steptoe saw improvement in multiple categories. The firm had a 32-point jump in associate satisfaction to a score of 95, and a six-point rise in female equity partners."
Last year, Steptoe came in at #33 and was noted as the firm with "the largest increase in the A-List rankings, climbing 36 places…Steptoe also increased its diversity score by 12 points and did well in the female equity partners category (78.0)."
